Many florists stock plush toys, candles and cards, and many gift shops offer local delivery. Gift-basket makers assemble baskets to order and ship across the country, balloon artists build arches and garlands for events, and party supply and craft stores sell ribbon, vases, tissue and decorations for do-it-yourself arrangements.

Framingham is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Framingham is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Massachusetts's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

They are going through seasonal changes. Associates are friendly. Store is a mess, things aren't priced properly. Items are in wrong area. They are pricey even on a damaged clearance items. They use to be so good, went down of late.

Very well organized, although not a lot of help on the floor or at the check out counter. Just go for the self checkout to make everything easier. Ordering ahead is always a great option too!

I love this store and have always enjoyed shopping here. However, I couldn’t help but notice the lack of cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms, which were in poor condition, with a strong odor and inadequate maintenance. The store overall also seemed to need more attention to cleanliness. I’m sharing this because I genuinely like the store and hope this issue is addressed to maintain the standard customers expect.

The product selection at Michael’s is always fantastic, but the customer service has been on a steady decline for years. I don’t mind having self checkout options, but I DO mind when employees consistently ignore/pretend to not see customers at the check out line in attempt to get them to use self check out. Customers should not have to ask for a clerk to ring them up, and this has been an ongoing issue for multiple years. If discount stores like Dollar Tree can afford to keep their cashiers available, so can Michael’s. It’s a few months later (now Jan of 2026) and I had to update their customer service is still terrible. There was one associate tying balloons behind the cashier as slow as possible and left me standing there for five minutes with only 3 things to purchase. The manager had to help someone at check out and I heard her say multiple times that she was happy to help with Kyra doing balloons. However it seemed like she was more telling ME she was busy, which she wasn’t if she was moving that slow. On top of that, if the manager knows her staff is busy and there is a line, she should have gotten her butt behind the cashier and to ring people up herself.

So I’ve been an artist, most of my life, and I sell my pieces and consider myself an established artist and had a head injury. I go into Michael’s to buy a luminous paint when asking for customer service. The young cashier asked for her supervisor. The supervisor came over, very disrespectful as it was hard for me to pronounce exactly what I wanted in the paint section, ask him for anything aluminous she could appointed me to what they had in any type of shimmer, she somehow in their brain you don’t interest them when your job is to do customer service walked off with a nasty demeanor in a handicap chair. I rolled over to her and try to think of other mediums I could ask for because I needed this for some furniture that we had in the park she responded in a very disrespectful way torn towards me as if I was stupid and said well what do you want? I said I’m looking for powder powder in what? Have a whole conversation about the paint I won’t say racist because it’s 2023, but it was giving that Vive I could’ve asked this woman for anything and I was violating if her response wasn’t with a nasty demeanor I might’ve just said she was having a bad day the fact that she was a supervisor i
